Lily Allen says that drink with drugs are “what life’s all about.” The 24-year-old singer – who celebrated her Q Award win for Best Track for single “The Fear” at a pub with rockers The Cribs with Edwyn Collins after the London ceremony on Monday – insists you would take the fun out of life if you never got intoxicated.

The “Not Fair” star is quoted by Britain’s Daily Star newspaper as saying: “Why the hell would you give up booze? No drinking until Christmas, yeah right? Drink with class A drugs – that’s what life’s all about.”

Lily also revealed her new man Sam Cooper – who attended the star-studded ceremony with her – is putting a smile on her face.

She said: “Everything is great. I’m really happy – he makes me really happy. We’re having a good time.”

Lily has previously admitted she partied a little too hard when she first shot to fame in the pop world.
